About This Project

What a challenge this project was which we love the home was a very tired Spanish Style home of the 60’s seen in many areas of Adelaide our brief was to change the style of the home to a Modern feel & to provide 2 areas of living & accommodation. The home had been partly renovated internally with a new Kitchen, Bathroom which had to stay & the extension built around this & an existing swimming pool. The client wanted the home designed so that their parents could come & live in the house if needed rather than go to a nursing home but still provide 2 distinct areas that maintained privacy. The client also worked from home & had customers visit so this had to be easily accessible & not intrude on the rest of the home. One other important brief was that the home had to have that Balinese fell to it particularly the Al Fresco area that lead straight out onto the pool. This wall all achieved with a new central living area where all could enjoy then a Master Suite was built on the upper level which also had its own living space & outdoor area being a balcony that could take in the views of the City & Glenelg lights. The actual master bedroom area is huge with a real resort style open feel to it & the Ensuite compliments this with its large bath with shutters opening back up to the bedroom. This area ispure  luxury with the inbuilt bath, double vanity & frameless shower area large enough to have a party in!
